Worship

Our worship is dynamic! Our churches have choirs and many of them have multiple choirs. You should hear our musicians! The drummers are amazing and those who play the balaphone are incredible. We certainly lift a joyful noise to the Lord! Our worship includes not only our music, but also our hunger for the Word through our Bible study, our time with our Father in prayer, our offerings and our baptism services. Our churches have mid-week prayer services and we recently began mid-week prayer services in 2 new villages. Women and youth across our churches meet weekly to study the Word. The members in our churches also worship through giving what they can give. A visitor from the U.S. observed stalks of corn on the floor at the front of a church and asked what it was. The response was, “It is the offering.”

Is there a better or more profound way to worship than to celebrate the Lord’s Supper or New Believer’s Baptism?  Several of our churches have a baptismal and other baptize in a local lake.  Often we celebrate the new year with baptism.

“Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!”  Psalm 95:6
