Here in Burkina, as well as in many countries of the world, March 8 is the ‘International Day of Women’. Three years ago we decided that the Sunday closest to March 8 would be our Women’s Appreciation Day. The Friday and Saturday just prior to this our church ladies go door to door sharing the love of Jesus and inviting women to church.
The Biblical message is for them. At the end of the service the visitors are recognized and all of our churches have differing activities. Some serve hot meals. Some serve donuts and bisap (like Kool-Aid). Some give small gifts.
All women, lost and saved, leave knowing they are precious to Jesus.
