Those of us with nieces, nephews, children, grandchildren…we are well versed in hearing, “Did you remember to get cereal? Did you remember the dry cleaning? Did you remember to pay for my field trip…Did you remember, remember, remember..?”
In our walk with our Lord Jesus, we encounter moments when we also ask of Him, “Do You remember when You promised…?” “Do You remember me?!” “Oh! God! Do You remember… remember… remember?”
“Then Hezekiah turned his face to the wall, and prayed to the LORD and said, ‘Remember now, O LORD, I beseech Thee, how I have walked before Thee in truth and with a whole heart, and have done what is good in Thy sight.’ And Hezekiah wept bitterly.” Isaiah 38:2-3
In verse 5 we read God’s response, “I have heard your prayer and I have seen your tears.”
