I was privileged to lead prayer meeting Wednesday evening. I have been teaching a series on the Fear of God (or lack thereof). During our time of prayer, I cited that our Lord had seemed to close heaven and withheld the rain for 2 weeks. We had taken for granted our Lord’s Grace and Provision. I called on our day guard, Fabrice, to begin by asking our Lord’s forgiveness for our apathy and to ask our Lord to show mercy and once again open the heavens to pour out/down the rain.
Thursday morning the heavens opened and our Lord poured out the rains and lightning! It continued until 2PM! I stood on my porch for a long time, staring into the heavens. Praising the God I love and fear and in awe…whispered, “Thank YOU!”
