Recall our last BLOG: PASSION. We stated that the P stood for Purposeful Pursuit and we referenced Deuteronomy 4:29. Our “A” in PASSION stands for:
Absolute Abandon: “Love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your strength. These words which I am giving you today are to be in your heart.” (Deuteronomy 6:5-6)
ALL. Not a part of us. Not a portion. Not shared. ALL. Absolute willingness to Abandon the “call” of the world. The “interests” of life. The “wants” of our driven or selfish selves. The willingness, or maybe we can say the need, to focus all and place all of our dependence upon our Savior.
ALL. Such a small word…which says everything!
