I have a friend who adores Acrostics. So in the next few weeks we are going to look at the meaning of PASSION and Who and what our Lord desires us to be PASSIONATE about.
You see, I am not talking about the passion of “first love.” Nor am I speaking about the passion of a parent or grand-parent watching their children at a ballgame or recital. I am NOT talking about being passionate at a sports event. What we will be considering in the weeks to come is PASSION for Christ.
No one, not you nor I, will ever become passionate without a plan, without a purpose. We will never recapture the passion we experienced toward our Savior when we first came into relationship with Him without effort. Never.
