In ministry gatherings, much is heard or spoken of “sacrifice.” Leaving one’s home country. Leaving family and friends. Leaving the home church. Leaving grown children or grandchildren behind. Leaving the comforts of America. Leaving shopping malls and coffee shops and nail salons and personal trainers!
Might I propose we look at the Cross of our Christ as ‘true sacrifice’…and from the foot of that Cross…where we found pardon and the promise of heaven…every step beyond, every act of service, every opportunity of witness, every tear shed for the lost, every prayer prayed for the sick, every ocean crossed, every village visited, every Bible lesson taught……as privilege! As privilege! As privilege!
