I have been blessed to have a unique perspective of the Shattering Darkness ministry through my sister and her son’s heartfelt vision.

My older sister, Missionary Lynn Kennedy, shared how God had called her to Burkina Faso and then how He called her to begin Shattering Darkness.  When Shattering Darkness came to fruition, I was the Finance Director, but as the mission grew and multiplied, with my full-time job, travel, and family commitments, I was unable to continue in that capacity. 

As I have heard and learned extensively from my sister, God has increased my love for the work that Shattering Darkness is accomplishing.  My husband and I have loved, prayed for, supported and encouraged God’s people in Burkina Faso, through which God is accomplishing His ministry.

In addition, I have advocated Shattering Darkness ministry’s communication through distribution of our newsletter and email updates. It has been a pure delight getting to know some of these prayer warriors personally. 

My husband Tom and I have two grown children and we are blessed with five kind and precious grandchildren. We are retired from our jobs in the medical and local government positions.
