A friend passed along an idea from her Pastor from many years ago. I love it. Am sharing it with all of you. In order to keep our focus on our Lord Jesus as we approach the Holy Season and the New Year, we will be looking at titles and attributes of Jesus via the alphabet.
Today we will look at:
“A”: Jesus is Almighty, Author of our Faith, I AM, Awesome, All giving, Advocate, Alpha & Omega
“B”: Baby, Beautiful, Beginning and the end, Beloved Son, Branch, Bread of Life, Bridegroom
“C”: Carpenter’s Son, Champion, Chief Corner Stone, Christ, Commander, Covenant of Israel
“D”: Deliverer, Dwelling Place, Divinity, Door of the sheep, Descendant of David
“E”: Eternal Life, Eminent, Encourager, Esteemed, Everlasting Love, Everything we need
Ponder these titles. They partially describe Who Jesus is for us and to us, and if we allow, through us! A former Pastor of mine shared his family’s Christ-mas practice with our congregation. The family matched dollar for dollar what they spent on gifts and gave the same amount each Christmas as a special love offering in honor of the Babe in the Manger, now the King of Kings!
