Many years ago an Impact Team from FBC Dillon, SC arrived and ministered in the village of Balembar. One of their projects included construction of a house for the pastor. In their bag of goodies they had included some beautiful curtains for the house. Unfortunately for the pastor, but fortunately for the missionary, the curtains did not fit the village house.

Fast forward nearly 10 years. Those curtains have been used as curtains. Then they became ‘doors’ into the bedrooms of the missionary house with no bedroom doors. Parts of the ensemble became table doilies and also window dressing. Recently, the curtains were dropped off at a tailor. Upon request he sewed them all together. The curtains, door dressing, window dressing, doilies…have now become the bedspread on the missionary bed. Americans have no idea what re-cycling is really all about!
