In the book of Ecclesiastes, we are told there is a time for all things. Amidst what we read in Chapter 3 we see, “A time to weep, and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance; A time to be silent and a time to speak…” (vs. 3: 4, 7b)

In recent days I have received news from the U.S. concerning people that are very special to me as well as to Shattering Darkness.
For Brother John and Donna: a time to weep. ( The loss of a loved one)
For John and Joan: a time to mourn. (The loss of a dream)
For Pastor Kenn and family: A time to love (in utero grandchild with life-threatening illness)
For Marilyn: a time to be silent (waiting to see if new treatments will work)
For Debi: A time to keep (precious memories as she faces an uncertain tomorrow)

It is difficult for us to be so far away from those who mean so much to us during their time of need.

So grateful to our Beloved Savior Who is there in their midst, doing what we can not do, loving more than we can love, touching inner soul and spirit where we can not reach, and comforting with spiritual words we are unable to express.
